Landsvirkjun Power signs a contract with Nukissiorfiit on operational assistance
In April 2011, Nukissiorfiit of Greenland tendered technical assistance services for operations and maintenance of 5 hydroelectric facilities in Greenland and the Greenland transmission line system. After evaluation of tenders, Nukissiorfiit awarded Landsvirkjun Power the contract which was signed in early June.
The work involved is basically as follows:
1. Assistance through telephone and e-mail in case of minor disturbances or questions.
2. Assistance in case of outages where immediate site services are required.
3. Assistance with scheduled maintenance and condition assessment of hydro facilities and transmission lines.
The contract period is 5 years.
